Celebration
We pray and then we eat!
Passage
Pslam 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters
3 he restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long.
Ponder & Pray: Living in the Goodness of God
As always, we start with prayer. But this week, prayer and testimony is where we camp.
1) After we are done eating, drinking, and fellowshipping, let's have a time of rejoicing about all the prayers the Lord has answered over the course of the last year. This may be a healing, a provision, something exciting that has happened in your life over the last year, or something you noticed that has been amazing to see in the life of our Bible Study Group,
2) What has been the highlight of the last year in our Bible Study Group? There are no wrong answers here, really.
3) What are you looking forward to when we start up again in September?
4) Is there anything we can pray for right now that's on your heart concerning you or someone you know? Let's pray for one another.
Benediction
